Woodmaker

What is Woodmaker?

WoodMaker is a social network for those passionate about woodworking, designed to communicate, publish, search and store up-to-date information.

Why a separate social network if there are global?

Global social networks have long been in a state of oversaturation, where it is very difficult for users to extract the necessary information from the rapid flow of messages of all possible genres of thematic areas. Feeds of global networks are overgrown with intrusive advertising and a lot of distracting "widgets", which makes it impossible any "niche" information to break through. Such information just gets lost. This demotivates both users and authors.

That's why over the past few years, even communities with millions of users on global social networks have become empty, people have dispersed into mini-chats in instant messengers and communicate in narrow circles. Unfortunately, this has made it almost impossible to share experiences with a wide audience. Such chats and communities are closed, do not have useful tools and do not perform the main functions of a social network, including assistance in finding like-minded people, taking into account the territorial factor.

A separate social network with all modern tools and at the same time strictly focused on specific content could be a way out of this situation. We want to unite and organize all the information and network users concerning one single topic - the topic of working with wood.
